Any word on review admits for Cockrell college of engineering?
So far, I think I have only seen 1 admit to chemical engineering that occurred just before Thanksgiving
Two of my classmates (in-state auto-admit) were accepted to government and biology
As a parent of a UT23 son, I agree 100 percent.
The way that UT has handled COVID is making us reluctant to send our potential UT25 daughter.
I have not been impressed with COVID testing, quarantine plans, the quality of some of the online classes and availability of resources. The procedures for when a student tests positive are not being followed consistently.
We loved UT last year and it was a fantastic experience. Hopefully by fall, there will be a sense of normalcy.

My daughter (Auto Admit) was admitted to CNS Biology today. She is still in review for Dean’s Scholars.

For everyone already accepted, has anyone received their big white admission envelope with their Gone To Texas banner? Son’s My Status reflected his acceptance on Nov. 20th but so far no snail mail from the university.

so far i have only heard of one person on this thread getting accepted to mccombs. not sure if its because they havent released a large wave of acceptances or…?

I guess UT is “parting” from their usual Friday evening of letting applicants know
in-state, out-ofstate, auto, non-auto…

Was Dec 3 even a wave? I’m hearing people getting their majors update last night and today. Are there more acceptances rolling in later today?
@fredigam Im wondering the same thing. it looks like the acceptances are trickling in rather than actual batches/waves getting sent out. not sure though, this is all just pretty confusing in general hahaha
I expect yesterday and today to be a trickle.
The first large wave of acceptances will be next Friday.
