Does anyone know if the registration information sheet is a clear indicator if you’ll be accepted? I got bad 1000 data and feeling kind of bummed lol.

I guess it’s the same for everyone. Based on the information here, it only becomes accessible after admission. The auto admitted students can see it from the beginning because they have been admitted as soon as they submitted their applications. You have nothing to worry about.

Actually, my son is an auto admit and we get the bad data message. Not everyone sees the registration information. If you do, I think it’s a very good sign. Although my son is an auto admit, McCombs is still a long shot for him. The bad data message is honestly a little ominous for us.

There’s no rhyme or reason when students hear for the interview so don’t be discouraged. My OOS daughter was accepted a few years ago in the first batch in December. She didn’t hear about an interview until President’s weekend and had her interview soon after.

Thanks for sharing. My assumption is invalid then. Still, the conclusion does not change. We have nothing to worry about, as some auto admits don’t even have access either

Just a theory, but perhaps those seeing the information under the registration info tab are those who will either be admitted (non-auto admits) or receive their major designation (auto admits) in this next wave. If prior years are representative of this year, this is a small wave and so not too many will receive notification soon.
That said, 2021 is proving to be as nutty as 2020 so maybe there is no logic to anything we are seeing

My son has the registration info tab, but his application is still in review. When do you think his portal will be updated? We’re on pins and needles right now lol.

My question is are those who are seeing the reg. Information sheet people who have been admitted and have accepted admission already and just waiting for major placement or have been admitted and waiting but have not accepted yet??? That might have a little to do with it as well. I don’t know just a small theory.

many are not auto admits and theyre still seeing the reg info sheet. My theory is that they update your sheet right before they announce your acceptance. It is possible that the people seeing bad error may have their info sheet updated later

i’m an auto admit (2% instate) and have the bad data error notif and i applied 10/1
they might update it for you closer to when they plan on releasing your acceptance
