So happy for all who are getting accepted and/or their major today! No word on McCombs this round for my son and all his friends (all auto-admit). Bummer… It would be nice to have some news…
I am not sure either… some people say you’re going to get a decision soon if your RIS updates…
Is it just me or is this wave hella small? Looking at the ut admissions subreddit almost nobody is talking. I don’t think this is the major Dec wave we were promised…

last year a small applicants were accepted at 5 pm, not 6pm, so I personally think this is not a major wave… or maybe I just wanna believe it this way xD
because this one was also released at 5 pm

no email. just updated portal.
It will say “Congratulations! You’re a Longhorn!” In the admission’s tab

I have not received an email yet but on my portal it says something like “Congrats on acceptance to the class of 2026 and the department of aerospace engineering “. And it added tabs to my “to do” list (which now looks just like my twin brother’s who was accepted earlier than me)
