UT Austin class of 2026 admissions

most are major decisions, and only a few non autos were admitted

Congrats! What were you stats if you don’t mind me asking? Son is OOS waiting to hear about CS@CSN

DD got accepted into CS, in-state, non-auto.

No update for me CS@CNS. Guess I move on to my other applications and stop tracking UT.

When I can finally get to that page (“What I Owe”) it says:
“ Our records indicate that you do not have a billing record with the University of Texas Austin.”
There’s nothing about a cash balance.

yay!
yeah the ut admission guy said most non autos with competitive majors

same for me. it says $0. however one of the non-auto admits above said it changed a couple hours before acceptance

It never charged for me and I got in yesterday, so don’t rely too heavily on that

Is UT the only school with firm application deadlines but releases decisions slowly in small batches?

Any auto-admit engineering that did not get an update yesterday?

Yes, Auto-admit but still says still being considered for major

Nope

Confused now - ours doesn’t even say $0.

Just noticed this. Yesterday was National Signing Day. Wonder if that had any relevance to decisions released by UT yesterday.

Indiana — but mostly based on application date. They have an EA deadline of Nov 1.

A&M does more early admission for top 10% but also does a lot of batching. More majors are impacted at UT and much more competitive OOS. Also fewer legit pathways into engineering.

has anyone who applied priority oos heard back yet?

TAMU does the same thing

Well that’s relieving ! :slightly_smiling_face:
