I received an email about an interview for Canfield Honors today!
MyStatus still does not show my major decision. Anyone know if getting an interview for Canfield means you are accepted into business?

Looks like folks are starting to hear back.
What date did you submit your application? And what date was it marked complete? Thanks for sharing if you do.
I submitted my regular application early August and finished my honors application early September. Not sure when exactly they marked it complete, but I was auto-admitted mid September.
ChemE only allows 50 first year students a year? I hadn’t heard that number. Where did you find out this information?
I never said they only do. The year my daughter was admitted we went to meet with an engineering counselor for a potential schedule session while she was still considering UT. That year, 2022, the admissions counselor said there were only 50 spots they had to fill. I asked for clarification twice because it seemed so low.
ETA - you’re correct i said exactly that! sorry! I misspoke.
We were told by UT that numbers for each major depend on how much space they have (specifically how many graduating seniors they have).
My son received an email today that he was admitted into the College of Natural Sciences as a Biology major, which was his first choice. He is an auto admit from a small high school. He’s 1/44.
Congratulations! When your son submitted his application?
Hi! I heard (from a Reddit thread) that a lot of in-state non-auto addmits heard today. Did any of you? Also, that being said does anyone know when the out-of-state admissons will come out? Is it a rolling process this year??
My son accidentally found out today that he is accepted by CNS, Neuroscience major, first choice. He didn’t get an email though. He was about to apply the CNS honor program, so he was on my status and suddenly saw the status changed.
yes! Received 1st-choice history major and friends all received English, Comp Sci, and Biochem majors
Did any auto admitted receive the offer yet?
Did you all apply super early?
My son submitted application in early October
Yes I heard some students who got in yesterday are non auto, but my son was auto admitted in October and got in his major as well.
