Plan 2 can only be applied through the freshman application? No transfer chance during the sophomore year?
@Ethansports You can only apply to Plan 2 as an incoming Freshman. You are correct - no transferring in soph year.
My son is an auto admit. Will My Status change to say “under review” at some point before getting an acceptance notification for his major? Right now he still has the “Change my majors” button available. He is applying to RTF as first choice. Thanks!
@TexasExMom Mine says “Under Review” at the top of the page and it also has the “Change My Major” button on the right hand side of the page under my major.
Thank you, @funtimes123, I appreciate your response. His still says the following, so I guess it is not yet being reviewed?
Congratulations, M…! You have been automatically admitted to The University of Texas at Austin.
Your application is still being considered for admission to your requested majors. Find out more about automatic admission.
Is there a wave today or on the 15th?
@TexasExMom I am not an auto admit so that may be why mine is different
@ nillupa I don’t think anyone knows, but the 15th would be consistent with previous years. BHP might get calls next week if they follow usual schedule. Or not…since someone said no deferrals and Nov 1 was later than previous Oct 15 deadline. Also, Nov 15 was recommended and not hard and fast…I think that is different too.
If there is a wave today, decisions typically roll out around 4-4:30PM CST
@funtimes123, Thank you for the clarification. Best wishes to you!
I JUST GOT IN BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING!!! HOOKEM!!!
My HS counselor said they won’t start releasing decisions until January because the deadline was pushed back until December 15
Anyone get in to undergraduate studies yet???
@nadiaSW Congratulations! Did that just get added to your portal today? And were you in-state and auto-admit already?
My daughter just got into Mccombs!
Are these for people who applied before nov 1st or after?
@Mills6 Was she auto-admit?
The deadline is December 15th? I thought it was way earlier
@johncocktoasten THANK YOU! I was an auto admit and yes it did update on my portal. It says: Congratulations! You’ve been admitted to the Biomedical Engineering major in the Cockrell School of Engineering, where you may begin your studies effective Fall 2018. HOWEVER, I actually found out through an email that I got. I was super confused at first because I got an email titled “Welcome to Biomedical Engineering” and thought that it might have just been for prospective students. But then I checked my status and sure enough it was there!
