@ak0412 Same thing noticed for my son too. Now we have only two things (Join your class’ Official Facebook group ’ Admissions recommendations ) under Recommended section .
@Ali059 I got into English yesterday as well! Congrats!!
did any non-autos get in to moody yesterday?
@msr2017 But the thing is, I’m not admitted yet
@ak0412 same thing happened on mine too. Dunno why it just disappeared when they said it would be there until the deadline. Don’t worry about it though.
@ak0412 My is an auto admit and still waiting on his major.
@msr2017 what major did he apply for? i am also an auto admit and havent heard back so was just wondering
ChemE
Any news on non auto liberal arts majors? I have a 27/1290 with really good recs/essays/ec’s and I’m worried sick
I wouldn’t worry too much. I found out I got in yesterday (english major) with 30/1300 and definitely wasn’t auto admit (~13%).
Since there was a wave last Friday will there be another one this Friday?
Has anyone heard who is OOS? Any insight on when OOS decisions historically start being released?
I sent my OOS app on Oct 7th…when can I expect a reply?
I bet the usual wave before Christmas break still happens. I think it looks like the one yesterday was just a tiny wave maybe driven by honors programs. I bet that the few who got in yesterday would have gotten in earlier if the honors deadline hadn’t backed up two weeks. Just my theory, of course! You never know with UT.
@Mills6 can you clarify when the “usual wave” before Christmas might occur, and if OOS applicants would be included too? Thanks!
Usually OOS students are notified last since they have to accept and give priority to in-state students. If all goes as last year OOS students usually get notified around February and March.
As suspected @Lupescupe, thanks! Good luck then to all in state applicants this week.
@Meant2B Out of state people get in in pretty much every wave. Only ten percent total of the acceptances can be from outside of Texas( so OOS and International). Internationals students have traditionally heard later than the actual last wave in late february but out of state kids are offered spots most waves. You just wont see a ton of people posting about it because so few in comparison are accepted. Waves seem to come by the college or honor program you applied for. Looks like some BHP candidates heard about their Mccombs acceptance friday and it looks like a few LAH applicants heard from COLA for English or or possibly Plan II for English heard as well- i think i saw one out of state for engineering. the November wave this time seemed bigger than I have even seen. if this is the december wave it seems alot smaller than I have every seen. UT break is later this year- so there is a possibility i if no wave this week then maybe a wave the following week. Also- very high stats people whose numbers Blow away average numbers for any program in UT often hear early- which makes sense.34 and above on ACT for anything other than Engineering Program or CS will probably fall into that Category- assuming the candidate has the PAI score to go with it. IN years past i have never seen architecture or nursing give early decisions. I think January in the past for the first big nursing wave and then february - almost in its own mini wave- architecture. so if one of those is your major- Probably don’t expect a decision this month.
Pls tell me there doing a wave on the 15th
My friend is an OOS student and just got into Architecture on Friday. I’m In state, going for a CNS honors and still waiting.
