UT Austin Exam in Physics

Hi guys,
I’m gonna be a freshman at UT this fall and I’m planning on taking the UT Austin exam in physics.
Has anyone taken it or know anyone who has taken it. Is it harder than the AP physics C test.
What should I study? Are there good study resources out there for the test? Is it worth taking?

Thanks

Are you trying to get credit for a certain physics class or a general science credit? If just the general credit, the SAT subject test in physics is also an option.

The SAT subject test won’t give me the 303k engineering physics credit which I need. Only the UT test in physics can help me at this point. It would be great if you knew how I could study for it or how difficult it is.

My son is in engineering and they told him that you may not want to take all your AP credits earned or use CLEP because taking the classes at UT level will prepare you for other courses in your field. He ended up taking some classes on their recommendation that he could have skipped just for that reason. Just wanted to share what my student went through as it my be helpful to you. Discuss any concerns with your advisers at orientation before scheduling classes.

Bump, I really need to know more about this test.
