UT Austin Fall 2019 Transfer

i’m applying to health &society in the school of liberal arts.
I have a 4.0 with 28 hours.
Two solid essays
no LR
200+ volunteer hours

@carmelxleon Same. I live in San Francisco and it is IMPOSSIBLE to find a one-bedroom/studio apartment under $3000

@ryanwharton I called and talked to my admissions counselor at St Edwards and explained the situation, and she said she’d make a note in my file and even if I don’t know by May 1st to just let them know as soon as I do, if I’m going to attend St Edwards or not, so they can free up my spot/scholarship/aid for someone else.

Hey guys I have a 3.37 gpa and I applied to the college of COLA with psychology as first choice and health and society as second. What are my chances of getting in ?

@EVSLOVE sorry I forgot to reply,
I’m applying to CNS!

@OChemSucks its ok! I hope we get in. CNS would be a dream come true. I just want to get denied already. I feel like my essays really really sucked. I went back to re-read them, and I don’t know what I was thinking. I have a 4.0 with 60 hours and amazing stories about living abroad for 8 years. MY essays though are horrible. English is almost my second language now. I’m starting to get super worried.

Anybody else overthinking about their essays? :stuck_out_tongue:

I applied to Cockrell School of Engineering

1st Choice: Electrical and Computer Engineering
2nd Choice: Computer Science

4.0 GPA
One robotics club EC
Four jobs, three relevant to my Major
Two volunteer activities
4 LORs from professors
67 Hours - All pre-reqs completed
Currently a sophomore at Collin College
I submitted two essays that I feel fairly confident in

My application to A&M got messed up and didn’t go through in time, so this is essentially my only opportunity now. Otherwise all of this work will have been for nothing. I’m pretty anxious about the whole situation.

Does anyone know if my final spring semester grades will influence the admission decision? I might end up with a B or two.

Having a 4.0 and going into liberal arts isn’t necessary but that is so wonderful to hear. I think you are shoo-in. GOOD LUCK

GUYS, IT IS APRIL !!!

@sweetsassysaira admissions decisions coming soon

Has anyone started a list with everyone’s stats?

@anonymous88083 I don’t believe anyone has started a stat list… Maybe I can try to make one, but idk if I have time for it though.

AHHHHH ITS APRIL! Hopefully, some acceptances will be sent out soon!

I just spoke with admissions and they said as long as you have 24+ credits, admission decisions will likely be sent by mid-to-late April. International and <24 credit student decisions will likely be a bit later.

If anybody is making a list, add me to it please.

COLA: International Relations
ACC transfer
45 Credits (18 are AP Credits however), GPA 4.0, 1 LOR from head of department professor, No ECs besides 2 from highschool (if they even matter), Above average essays.

Really nervous even though everybody is telling me not to be. Really wish this decision process could end…

My apologies if anything is incorrect.
