<p>Hi everyone, I was just wondering if I get rejected from the Engineering Honors Program (EHP) at UT Austin, can I still get into Cockrell as a nonhonors student?</p>

<p>Yes. You get accepted into Cockrell first, then they notify you if you get into the honors program.</p>

<p>Yeah so I got admission into chemE at UT today. do you guys have any idea when honors will come?</p>
<p>On the Engineering Honors website ([Engineering</a> Honors Program - Cockrell School of Engineering](<a href=“Undergraduate Education”>Undergraduate Education)) it says invitations will go out in February, but then on information sheet that came with the acceptance letter (normal non-honors) Cockrell sent me, it said Honors decisions will begin going out in January into the spring semester. I suppose that means that is should be pretty soon when we hear back from them.</p>
