<p>Hi, I'm a California community college student looking to transfer to the College of Communications at Austin or the Tisch School at NYU, but I heard that they are really selective and that it might be easier to apply to another school at those universities and then just internally transfer. Can you guys help me out with this? Thanks</p>
<p>I’m from Austin and I’m really familiar with UT, and so yes, many of my friends applied and were accepted into the school through a natural science major, or a liberal art major, and then they transferred internally :)</p>
