I am looking to apply for UT austin's plan II. I am wondering about the plan II visitation. I don't have the time to visit UT austin during school days and since ut austin don't offer plan II visits during breaks I wouldn't be able to visit at all. I am wondering if I don't go and visit then will that affect my admission negatively. Also, I am looking to get a biology degree as well and I want to apply for the biology honors. Is the honor class for the deans scholar honor program a small class with only the chosen students or are there courses that require you to take with the regular students with a regular classs size since I heard that regular classs size in ut austin is fairly large. Any sort of information would be awesome and I really appreciation any kind of reply. Please respond. Thankyou very much.

Don’t worry about not being able to visit. The Plan II sessions are just intended to provide more information to prospective students.

If you’re out of the area, they will not care the slightest bit that you didn’t visit. There are plenty of ways to show your interest if that concerns you. Try emailing Jennifer Scalora a focused and informed question about Plan II that will show you’ve put a lot of thought into the program.
