UT Austin vs. UC San Diego

Hi guys! With the college commit deadline looming closer and closer, I wanted to know if anyone had positives and negatives to share about each of these colleges. I have been accepted to UT Austin’s and UC San Diego’s neuroscience programs, and wanted to know how they compared to one another. Not in terms of rankings, but caliber of classes, research/internship/job opportunities, funding availability, social environment (all about studies or a balance), how signing up for classes goes (does the system crash? Is it hard to get classes you want?), what classes are like (too big? how are the professors?) etc.

I am planning on either becoming a neuroscientist (PhD) or a neurologist (MD), so undergraduate opportunities and funding are a big factor in my decision.

Any information will be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!
