I was just wondering what you guys thought of the business school at UT. It's currently ranked 6th in the nation overall and #1 in accounting. I will be going there in the fall. I'm thinking about majoring in accounting and then getting my MPA because I can probably do it in four years. If I were to do that, would I be able to get jobs in industries other than accounting, like consulting or I-banking? Do those fields value people with accounting knowledge? The McCombs website has a list of heavy recruiters that includes all of the big I-banks. Do you think there is any truth to the claims that I-banks actually recrute there? Also, if I were to go to a Big 4 accounting firm and work in accounting for a few years, what would be some possible opportunities afterwards? I know that most people don't stay there too long - so, I was wandering about post Big 4 opportunities.

I know it's a ton of questions. Thanks!
