UT CAP

Is this a good program to get into? I was thinking about going to either UT Arlington or UTSA next year. UNT is also an option for me. Is CAP offered to everyone that was rejected?

UT Cap is offered to most(not all) instate students that apply to UT , but some UT system schools are not offered , Ex: to get UTSA as a cap option ; you have to be top half + 1100 . … CAP is a good program if you really want to go to UT , although transfer to UT is relatively easy depending on what you do ? it all comes down to if you want to go UTA or UTSA and if you want to pay the tuition

I want to go into either nursing or biology. If I do not participate in CAP and go to UNT, how picky is UT with picking transfer students?

depends on your major again Lol , for something in the school of natural sciences you could your transfer accepted with a 3.3 , but for something like business you may need a 3.7-3.8

@commandbutton Are you sure that a GPA of 3.3 will do to get into CNS? Because from what I read recently we need a GPA of about 3.6 to get in.
