<p>whoa what is a 95.333 GPA?</p>
<p>i'd say your rank is fine. normally, you'd want to be in the top 10% to be safe (automatic acceptance), but the fact that you go to a magnet more than makes up for that.</p>
<p>with the number of AP classes you've taken and your ACT score, you'll be fine. i think with UT, the most important factor is being a decent in-state student. i've had tons of freinds barely in the top quarter enter the engineering program, probably because my school has a solid academic reputation and sends around 100+ students to UT a year.</p>
<p>make a note that if you're applying to plan II, engineering honors, or buisness honors, this could all change. i've heard that plan II is just about as selective as an ivy.</p>
