UT Chemistry(tentative ChemEng) vs. BU BME vs. PC 3-2 Engineering

I was rejected from my first choice at UT majorwise for Chemical Engineering. I plan on trying to transfer to Chemical Engineering should I attend. How easy is this by the way? Also is the deposit for UT by postmark?

At BU I plan on doing the EngMedic program. If I don’t get in, not sure where I would go from there.

Providence College’s 3-2 program is a pre-engineering program where I would take 3 years of general science at PC and then go to Columbia for 2 years and get my engineering degree from Columbia.

I’m an OOS for all 3 schools(from New York). Tuition wise, almost all 3 schools gave me an equivalent amount of FA so that I would pay the same amount of tuition at each school(about 20,000 per year). Help me decide please!!!

wait so you want to be a chemical engineer, or a doctor, or what? decide what u actually wanna do with your life and choose the school based on that. bme and ce are totally different.

btw, engmedic accepts ~0-4 people every year. if you’re a good student and personable then it’s definitely possible, but don’t count on that as being your only option.
