<p>I was admitted into both Cockrell mechanical engineering (with honors) and the school of engineering at Vanderbilt. I recently visited Vandy, and they told me that they put a big emphasis on hands on design throughout the four years, which I really love. Is the same true at UT? Besides the senior design project, do students get a lot of opportunities to do hands-on design projects?</p>
