<p>Does anyone really know much about UT-Dallas and their engineering program? I've heard a little bit about the school and I was wondering if anyone knew about the school.</p>
<p>UT-Dallas is a good engineering school but it is definitely not on the level of UT-Austin or Texas A&M.</p>

<p>They have a very strong history in CS and EE due to location - the school was literally established by TI. I think the other engineering departments, while somewhat reputable, are a bit newer and smaller. The career placement stats seem pretty good.</p>
<p>I’d agree that A&M and UT are better known.</p>
<p>I had a cousin go there for CS and he loved it. Got a job right out of college (not sure where though, I’ll have to check). I got an offer from them, they’re verrrry generous with scholarships; NMS get full ride plus, and there’s at least two other distinct full ride plus scholarships in addition to other awards.</p>
