UT good for computer science?

I have any public Texas school for free tuition through the Texas tomorrow fund, and I want to go to college for computer science. Is UT a good choice for a great job in the software engineering field?

Yes! Most of the large software companies (Microsoft, Google, Amazon, etc.) will recruit heavily at UT. There are currently numerous UT grads (including myself) on my team at Microsoft right now. These companies definitely consider UT to be a place where they can get a lot of strong talent.

Texas is good for every major

rated top ten in the nation man.

This one dude I know already secured a good job at IBM. He was trying to convince me to transfer into Computer Science. But yea, it’s ranked 8 or something in the nation. It also gets many recruiters from top software companies in the world.

And no. Texas is not good for every major. -_- Computer Science is one of the better choices. Hope you join us Longhorns!
