I have always wanted to go to UT, particularly their business school. Unfortunately, I don't know if that will be a possibility, so I would like you guys to chance me. First, I would like to give some background information, as it could affect my chances of being accepted into the school. I guess my biggest question is, how critical is your class rank? My first year of high school I had trouble adapting to all advanced courses and balancing my EC's. In result, my grades took a beating and I was stuck with an avg. class rank. I go to a Private Christian school that is definitely more competitive and a more rigorous education (I know this because there are a lot of kids that come from decent public schools that have trouble adjusting to the work load and their grades typically suffer. There are also kids that transfer out and do outstanding in public schools while taking all advanced courses.) The problem is colleges likely won't recognize this, and I will have to suffer for going to a better school. Also, will religious affiliation (Christian school) affect my chances of getting into an elite program like McCombs?

Grades: (This is what really stumped me)
UW GPA- 3.6
Weighted GPA- 4.8 (5 is a 100 avg.)
Class Rank: 13 out of 95 or 13.7%

Courses:

Okay, I've taken every advanced course offered at each grade level and my SAT scores are pretty good, atleast good enough to be on par with McCombs students. My main problem is my GPA and class rank. I would appreciate it if you guys could give me some good feedback, because I'm extremely nervous!
