UT vs. OSU

I am down to two schools.. The University of Toledo and The Ohio State University. I plan to major in CSE

Here are my biggest things, and please tell me if you disagree:

OSU- Better overall program, seems like I would enjoy it more

Toledo- Better co-op/internship program, cheaper.

Overall, how important is the co-op/internships for me? That is really my biggest concern.
OSU>Toledo for Computer Science? Is that true?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

You will have ample co-op and internship opportunities at OSU. Why do you feel they would be better at Toledo, a school with much less national reach?

Well the thing is Toledo has like a scheduled co-op, graduating in 4.5 years, and co-op is mandatory to graduate, I have just heard that Toledo has a great co-op program, and Ohio State’s is optional and you do it only during the summer

Just because it is optional, though, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. It was optional at my undergraduate institution, too (Illinois), which is similar in size to OSU, and probably 80% or more of the people did co-ops or internships. The ones who didn’t generally didn’t do it because they didn’t want to, not because they couldn’t find one.

<a href=“Co-op & Internship: The Three C’s | Engineering Career Services”>https://ecs.osu.edu/students/engineering-co-op-internship-program-ecip</a> describes the (optional) co-ops at The Ohio State University.
