I got accepted into both schools and money is not an issue for these schools. Which one has a better CS program and why? Also for UTDallas I was invited into the computing scholars honors program and I would really like to know more about it if anyone has info about it?
According to your thread back in January, you are in the new Rutgers Honors College. That seems like an important fact, so to leave it out seems odd. Or has there been a new development?
In another thread, the OP mentioned getting a full ride to Rutgers (probably the ~$25,000 per year scholarship that is approximately a full ride for in-state students, approximately full tuition for out-of-state students).
Don’t really see what the attraction of UT Dallas would be in this case, since Rutgers has a respectable CS department and there is no way UT Dallas will be significantly lower cost.
UTD has a “in” due to its tie to Texas Instruments (TI) . It sounds like the CS Honors program is very interesting, but email the department and ask how that impact internship access or whether there’s an Living Learning Community associated with it.
(This is what I found
