<p>U.Va</a>. Board Extends Sullivan?s Employment Contract to 2016 | UVA Today</p>
<p>The Board of Visitors (which governs UVa) extended the contract of UVa President Sullivan to 2016. The Board now includes several new members.</p>
<p>Prior to this announcement there were news stories that Sullivan was presented initially to the board as an “interim” office holder.</p>
<p>Just a very bad situation. What a shame for all concerned. Hope someday that it rights itself.</p>
<p>One board member said that in a comment after his resignation. He was primarily known for not having attended many meetings. Other boardmembers disputed his comment.</p>
