UVa engineering over virginia tech?

<p>davh01, can we agree to disagree? :slight_smile: Yes, time has changed (and some of us more “mature” folks are saddened by that fact really). </p>

<p>However, there are still plenty of engineers in big companies like Dupont, the US government, etc. that come from technical type engineering schools and don’t “stop their learning curve” after 10 years. In fact, I think it is in an engineer’s DNA to be a lifelong learner! Many, like my dad, move up in their company’s management ranks because of both their skill sets and personal qualities. I don’t think it is fair to assume that graduates of the more technically oriented engineering schools can’t write, relate to others well or are one-dimensional. It’s a person by person, engineer by engineer determination.</p>

<p>If we are comparing undergraduate engineering programs, VaTech is the clear winner for everything except biomedical.</p>
