Exactly... that's why we are warned about posting essays, etc.

Honestly though, from my interactions with Dean Roberts via e-mail, he doesn't really come off as the kind of guy who would do so such a thing.

And again, obviously the user with the Dean Roberts moniker isn't really Dean Roberts, but aside from that, I don't suspect Dean Roberts is the kind of guy would do that kind of thing.

Also... I still don't understand why more people aren't angry with Jenn. Some one who fakes an acceptance letter in a believable fashion (thankfully wahoo and a few others cleared it up) upsets me much more than the Dean Roberts thing. I don't know why you wouldn't just report them both. Although... the user of Dean Roberts is probably worse because even though it was obvious, he was intentionally attempting to misrepresent him/herself as Dean Roberts.

I don't know... but seriously, I don't get the point of a person/people (depending on whether or not they are the same person) doing this.

I think the reason more people aren't taking action is because we don't really know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the person with the alias "Dean Roberts" is in fact an imposter. Similarly, whether Jenn is lying has yet to be proven. We'll never know for sure until we have an acceptance letter for this year to compare her letter to. Nevertheless, I do think they are both lying.

I think is hilarious...haha...you guys are totally freaking out...it really isn't that serious...ok may be it is cuz is def. getting on my nerves...err...Jenny girl...can you please care to type out your acceptance letter, thanks.

I got to say based on stats of messages posted and the times this page has been viewed, UVA is one hot place to transfer to. The only thing hotter than this is the UC and I think they have 9 schools branched together.

Alright to everyone~
I am sorry for those individuals who have made everyone else absolutely crazy over my advertising of my acceptence into UVA. One point, I am accepted, TWO, I would NEVER do anything so cruel as to fake a letter on this thread knowing everyone, including myself at one point, was on edge trying to gain admission into one of the (if not THE) prestigeous insitutions on the East coast. I only wanted to let everyone know, now is the time when the letters were being sent out and to watch the mailboxes.....I can't believe I am typing out the whole letter, but I know everyone is on edge right now.....SO HERE IT IS....COMPARE IF YOU MUST!!!!

Please know I have all the best wishes for everyone on this thread. I was only trying to do a good deed, letting everyone know when the letters were sent, and I was belittled in the process. Again, good luck to all, I am on my way to the College of William and Mary.

I am sorry, too, Jenn. But, there are just so many liars and defrauders on these types of forums that you never really know who is telling the truth.

and to prove she's tellin the truth, hers and my sister's freshman acceptance are basically identical except for the bottom portion specifically for transfer students, and the signature being Greg Roberts' instead of John Blackburn
