<p>I am applying to all of these schools (UVA, UCLA, UW Madison, U Mich, UNC) but I don't have any sort of order of preference. I know what most people say about these schools which is pretty much they all like to party and go to games but also work really hard. But I would really like to hear the more in depth stuff that set any of these places apart from other schools. It would be really great if someone who went or who knows someone who went would give a little bit more of a personal description and say anything that they specifically liked it didn't like about it. </p>

<p>You should visit their respective forums on CC. Those are 5 of the very best universities in the nation, so you really can’t go wrong with any of them. </p>
<p>And the cost will vary significantly depending on where you live.</p>
<p>Go and take campus visits; that will probably help you make some decisions. How schools look and feel in person can be very different that what you may read about on the internet.</p>
