Background Information: I am currently a junior at a California high school and am the prime candidate for my class valedictorian next year. I have taken/am taking as many AP courses as will fit into my schedule (so far I have taken 4 and plan on taking 4 more next year) as well as supplementary courses at my local community college (I have taken one already and am planning on taking two more over the summer). My high school grades thus far have been straight A's- my school has not passed out transcripts for the past semester yet, so I am unsure of my current GPA but I know that it is over 4.2. I play varsity tennis, sing in my school's Women's Chorus and Chamber Choir (an audition group), am a member of the Science Club and CSF (California Scholastic Federation), and am involved in Sports Medicine. I have well over 100 hours of community service. My SAT score is a 2120.

My Question: I have absolutely fallen in love with UVa, and especially with the idea of the Echol's Scholar Program. Based on the information provided above, can anyone give me an idea of whether I could reasonably get into the program? I have searched the UVa website but have not found any information on the types of students who are admitted into the Echol's Scholar Program. Any information you have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
