<p>Mm, no. Berkeley's famed rival is Stanford, in terms of sports.</p>
<p>UVa doesn't have a rival in the sense of Harvard vs. Yale or MIT vs. Caltech. In football, VA Tech is their rival, but VT is a TTT that can'[t touch UVa's academics. Georgetown and Duke are too different to directly compare. UNC-CH seems to be rival material, but I never ehar anything of it.</p>
<p>Sportswise, UVa's biggest rival was UNC before Virginia Tech. Actually, the UVa vs. UNC rivalry is considered the longest in the South, but no one really talks about it. Since Duke's ascension, UNC has focused more on the Blue Devils than UVa. Academically, I don't think UVa considers any other school a "rival" per se.</p>

<p>amnesia - there are no 'wrong' decisions, its really what you make out of it once you get to college. So don't worry quite so much and chose what feels right to you</p>
<p>Here in NOVA there is sports rivalry twixt UVA and UMD, mainly football until UVA brings their A game in mens hoops back.</p>
