I’ve checked on UW’s website and it says that acceptances will come in the mail, does this apply to international students as well?
Yes. But a quicker way to check is on the My UW portal. Also theres a transcript trick going around where you can check on your portal if they upload your unofficial transcripts along with a student ID in the corner, you’ve been accepted.
@julietjuju3 What do you mean by unofficial transcript?
On the old version of My UW (if you haven’t switched over yet) there is a link on the bottom right-hand side that says Unofficial Transcripts. The transcripts from your previous school will be there with a student ID at the top corner and that’s a way to find out if you got into UW before they send out notifications. Mine doesn’t have anything there at the moment, but I will keep checking that tab periodically to see if there are any changes. I suggest looking at old threads on this topic, I gained a lot of insight on what to look for as subtle hints of getting into UW before the notifications roll out.
@julietjuju3 If an error page came up saying that the service is “only available to current and former UW students,” would this mean I wasn’t accepted?
@inejghafa Not necessarily. It’s still early, but your transcript would go there once they view your application. Mine says the same thing, & so do many others due to the fact UW hasn’t looked at applications yet.
