<p>There are also four graduate degrees within the Wisconsin School of Business (including the Integrated Masters of Accountancy) for which the Board of Regents approved a new $1,000 tuition hike.</p>

<p>As a parent in my opinion it is worth every penny and more!!</p>

<p>Only if you do not provide your kid with some basic guidance. Also those whose parents are actually paying do not have to work and take reduced loads etc so they have no reason to take any longer. Unlike other schools dominated by wealthy kids many UW kids actually put themselves through college. Nobody is dressing in expensive funny outfits and going to the Steeplechase races.</p>
<p>Yes, they sure don’t use any of that money to pay the hired help. And I hear that policy is likley ending soon anyway–too many needy students started applying and sucking up the money faster than expected. And the number of quality full pay students is not endless.</p>
