UW Honors 2025

Could somebody please indicate when they believe honors decisions will come out? I know UW gave a date range (March 15-April 12), but I’m wondering if some people have heard already.

Last year, the first people heard on Thu 3/19 and then others heard the following week. But general admission decisions were released on 3/6 last year, a week earlier than this year. So the first people might not hear until the end of this week.

Just checked the UW reddit thread and people received acceptance emails 2 hours ago.

D received email several hours ago of her acceptance. Email indicated that over 5100 applications were received for 225 spots this year.

i got my invitation to join the honors program 3 hours ago : )

I am assuming there is no notification for being rejected, only for being accepted?

They continue to accept kids into April, they don’t send them all at in one swoop. And they will eventually notify of rejections.

I just received an invitation to join the honors program. Does anyone know how honors-related scholarship offers are released?

I know someone who was notified (of scholarship) today via email.

How does UW pick who gets in?

Did anyone receive their decision?

I got in as well! UW is one of my top colleges and the Honors acceptance definitely bumps it up to my top two at the moment.

Do they tell us if we r rejected?

I haven’t received any notif yet

My daughter was so excited today to receive an email from UW Honors, titled “UW Honors Admission Letter”. Unfortunately, it was an honors rejection letter : (

What major are you in

What major

I think they do, I’m not sure

I’m an Astronomy major, with plans of double-majoring or minoring in either Psychology or English Literature/Creative Writing

Can anyone give any information on honors program at U of W. My daughter admitted out of state. We called admissions while on a walking tour and they said Terry Hall is where honors students can live. Does anyone have any information on this form experience? On the honors program in general? Thank you
