I canceled our 4/8 admitted student day 5 minutes ago if anyone wants to grab it. We just returned from Purdue and our son declared the college search over without visiting the last two options 
I will say we also heard great things about UWM from the people at/around Purdue so good luck to all the future Badgers on this thread.

Hi! Does anyone know the process of being on the waitlist?
Did anyone who was accepted to the university but put on waitlist for Direct Admit to the Business School get into Business? DS got notice on 4/15 that biz wait list was now closed (did not get off wait list but still has opp to apply in freshman year). Curious if any folks did get off the biz wait list prior to end of April.
Same thing happened to my DS, he did not get direct admit to the business school off of the waitlist. Don’t know of anyone who did but only know of a few kids in the same position.

We thought it was kind of odd that the notification date was 4/15 since the university won’t hear back from all DA students until May 1. But, maybe if they were seeing lower than typical yield at that stage, they would have let some folks off the waitlist in mid-April?? While we’re going under the assumption that nothing further will happen with this waitlist since they said the waitlist is “closed,” we still wonder if they will let convert any Pre-Biz students into DA status between 5/1 and the start of school.
