I am admitted to both business schools(Accounting) but having hard time choosing them.
I prefer Rutgers since its close to NYC which means more opportunities, but UW has a better program(I guess?)
My friend told me PWC recruit a lot of students in UW. What about Rutgers??
Also, do people really care about the ranking? UW has a ranking and Rutgers dont? Does that make a difference?

If you're going into accounting, it doesn't matter what school you go to. Rutgers places many grads into Big Four firms, as does UW. I think Wisconsin will offer better opportunities in the long run, but if you're set on accounting, prestige doesn't matter, so I would go with the in-state, cheaper option. Are you in-state for either?

I am an international student from China and their tution are really close.
How come long run is better for UW?
Are you in Rutgers???

I'm not at Rutgers, but it's my in-state school, and thus I know a lot of people who go there. UW is a better school overall, but like I said, if you're going into accounting, the rankings and such don't matter as long as you do well. I think UW is better in the long run because it has a better name, and more employers and graduate programs will give it more recognition than Rutgers. It's just my personal opinion.

The University of Wisconsin is a better academic institution than Rutgers. Furthermore, the Wisconsin campus is more fun and lively than the Rutgers campus and the town of Madison is nicer than the town of New Brunswick. Finally, Wisconsin alums are more loyal than Rutgers alums. Overall, I think going to Wisconsin would be a better choice.
