Does UW offer any merit scholarships for out of state students? I visited Madison today, and loved it, but I do not think it is realistic for me to attend if they do not offer any scholarships. Thanks!

Not that I know of, but you can contact the school to ask and/or apply and see what happens.
@pbmcdoug - My S17 loved UW when we visited last summer. He applied, was accepted and then found that they had exactly zero OOS scholarships for him. At $50k+ per year, he declined his admission. This is a new year, but I would not count on anything.
Ditto the chances. Unlike some schools UW has not needed to entice top students with money.
