My D applied to University of Washington Seattle in the last week of November 2010. She received an email from the University within two days after submitting the application acknowledging receipt of application. So far she is only able to log into the applyweb.com page where the status is -No Application Terms Currently Available. Is there a page where she should be checking the status of her application? Has anybody received an Id and password from the University to check the status of the Application?

The admissions process is different this year. There is not a page to check status nor have IDs/passwords been issued. In the past, there was access to a status page.

You can send an email to Admissions to check to see if your file is complete; they will answer. Otherwise, it’s just a waiting game…

yeah. im interested too, can anyone tell me for sure as well?

PNWguy is correct. After submitting the app, the only response you should get from the UW is a confirmation e-mail. As for checking the status, I suggest making a phone call to admissions (it is way faster than e-mail, and they are generally happy to let you know if your file is complete or parts missing)

^^ Am I the only one who was told not to call or email about the status of my application? They sent me a “DO and DON’T” list. Calling and emailing admissions was under “DON’T”. I was wary enough about emailing them to make a correction, I’d hate to jeapardize my chances by disregarding that. . . .

Thank You PNWguy and FishOnAStick.
Speakingez: Yes, my D received that “Do not Call” email
