Hi all,
I am a current Californian undergraduate student at UW who has been admitted at UCSB for biology. The deadline to submit your SIR is coming up and I’m really struggling with this decision and I was hoping anyone would have any advice for me. I’ve found that I dislike living in Seattle and the incredibly medical school-focused nature of the biology program at UW, but I’m not sure whether UCSB is worth giving up what I have going on here. Does anyone here have any experience with transferring from a 4-year college to a UC and could speak a little to why they chose to leave their original school?
