Just curious I'm planning on studying engineering and business in college and I am trying to decide between UW and Purdue. Any suggestions or information reguarding these two schools and how they compare?

I don't really know. Try posting it in the "College Search" Forum. There might be more people there who can help.

I visited Purdue, and they are definately an engineering school. All the way. I'm not into engineering, and so I really don't know how they stack up, but there's a lot of opportunities at Purdue, especially if you're into the aviation scene. Still, I like the UW campus a lot better (Purdue's in the middle of a cornfield...) UW also I think is more on the "cutting edge"- they seem more current than Purdue, though it does have more students majoring in different things than Purdue, where everyone seems to be majoring in engineering or science. Oh yeah, and Purdue has a far inferior business program to UW. Of that, I am 100% sure (I'm planning on majoring in business at UW).

UW's engineering and business programs are both pretty good. The best thing about UW is that it offers so many majors, and many departments are well regarded. UW is a 1st tier top 50 national university according to US News and World Report. I don't know if Purdue is or not. And yes, they do have a good engineering program.
