As far as I know, yes.

You could always ask the official people in 2 days time.

ssmonster now I totally understood what you meant when you said the interview was actually fun … it didn’t feel like one at all, just casual talk ^^

hey could i know who you are reichstag, since i was in group A as well from 6th-7th … just wondering if any of you guys have got any replies as to the final acceptance ?

as for me, not yet

Hey Anahita, they’ve been sending out acceptance letters all week (and will be till the 23rd, I believe). Did you her from them yet? :)

I just thought I should post here that I didn’t get in.
Definitely feels like crap but I’m sure it’ll pass.

And I don’t regret having applied to the UWC’s because it was a wonderful experience even though I didn’t make it.

By the way, to future applicants(who might read this post in the future), just chill. There isn’t exactly anything to be ‘afraid’ of. ( and one important thing about the personal interview. It was 30 minutes long. Make sure you have enough to talk to them in those 30 minutes. Make a list of things that you want them to know about you. While you shouldn’t get too stressed about it, don’t take it too lightly. It might spell doom, like it most probably did for me.)

Also, there’s a tiny probability that I might apply next year. Maybe I’ll make it the next time around. :)

Adarsh

It was a tough slection process. Did you get a formal letter or email? We are still waiting for notification. To others - how did MUWCI notify the candidates selected after interview.

BTW, did you consider Aga Khan Academy in Hyderabad.

best,
KK

I called them.

I got a rejection letter, and it came through post :)

Blueguy, my dad received an email, and we got a letter by post a few days later :)

Hey guys! I’m in the 10th right now and will be applying to give the entrance exam/s(?) It would really be helpful if i knew what kind of tests I should be expecting, and how much competition I will be up against in the 1st round. Thanks!

Hey!Does anyone have any idea or suggestion regarding the admission process this year?

It’ll probably be the same as last year :)

@Sam1223: Please do elaborate. :)

Hi guys so I was called for the interview and was offered admission to MUWCI with Scholarship but couldn’t accept due to some personal reasons.
If i remember correctly, there are 2 interviews. Yes, its pretty daunting process because the first interview has 3 people in it, an alum a teacher and a third person who I didnt know (he didnt speak)
Basically, the alum drives most of the interviewing and aims to keep the process fun.
If I were you, I’d really think first before I boasted of my talents because of you say you’re a talented public speaker, they will literally make you stand right there and give a speech. But if you’re fun and outgoing so are they. Dont mind the stares and the looks just be who you are and you shouldnt have a problem
The 2nd interview is by the trustees Mrs. Parekh its a lot more formal and its pretty standard. Nothing to worry.
In between all this, you get time to interact with current students and play games that enhance social skills. These in my opinion are the real game changers because they see how you interact with peers which is important in a boarding school. I think I got in only because of the 1st interview and these games. If you can’t be a centre of attention kinda guy dont be it but just show that you do interact well.

Thats my advice. Good luck

Hey everyone here, just lemme know if MUWCI mails and lets us know even if we are not selected for the interview, they tell us, right? Do you know anything about it?

I’m new to this thread and I just got a mail from MUWCI. Im selected for the interviews, what will the process be like?
PS Group C

I’m new to this thread too and i have been selected for the selection camp, I’m in group A. i wanted to know how is the interview and the aptitude test. and what can be asked in the interview ?

Hello fellow applicants,
I applied to UWC Mahindra too and got an email yesterday that invited me for the 24-hour selection camp. I’m in Group C, and I’m not going to lie to you-I’m pretty nervous. Also excited.
As we all know, the previous year was the first one where applicants had to stay overnight for the interview process. Therefore, I am here to ask for suggestions, tips, anything at all from last year’s applicants and to know how this whole thing worked out last year. It would be of immense help, please feel free to be explicitly precise about every tiny little thing that happened. :P

@rid1310- I spoke to a friend who went for the selection camp last year. She said the aptitude test is an MCQ Paper and its similar to the SAT examination. The interview is based on your application and she stressed on one thing that is if you don’t know something DON’T LIE and be yourself. Its a fun experience since there are a lot of social games.

BTW does anyone know what the groups are based on ?
