black9900- Thank you very much for your help. Since I haven’t really given any SATs, I am a little confused about that. Did she say that the aptitude test was difficult, though?
Anyway, I think applicants are sorted into their groups according to their applicant numbers-just a thought.
I have a doubt…they said that each group consists of 10 applicants. So how many groups are there?
Also, congratulations on getting the interview offer. :)

I have an interview too, but I live in Malaysia so it’s via the phone:) I’m scared since it seems like it would be a lot harder to present myself well over the phone!!

sellerofdreams- you should try recording yourself so you know how you sound on the phone, then you can work on how to sound more impressive and confident. Did you apply to Mahindra?

@rid1310- there are there groups this year each with ten people. she said the test is normal a few questions are hard the rest are pretty standard and its not from any particular syllabus or board so thats good. and congratulations to you too :)

I should probably stop pestering you, black9900. But. Is it like only one test? Does it only have maths questions or random questions of all subjects? Or do you have to write an essay or something? Everything can’t be mcq, can it? I guess, you just have to apply your logic there.

hey! i got my selection e-mail as well! im in group B. i’ve got my interview on 5th april. whats yours? they will ask practical questions and they will try their best to make you nervous. im more concerned about the aptitude test! do you have any idea what kind of questions they will ask?

Hi, even i have been called for the interview and i am in group C… i am really nervous about the interviews and would really appreciate it if someone who’s been through it, would let all of us know what it will be like and what kind of questions will they ask. Also is the aptitude test just going to be basic logical knowledge or is it suggested to study for it?

anyone here in group B?? if you are, lets get to know each other better! :D

@zoozoo123 i’d be more scared if it was basic logical questions :P

Hey guys, congratulations. Mine is on 6th april. I’m really not sure about the aptitude test, everything I’ve learnt about the interview is from this thread. :P

@zoozoo123(how did you come with that username?) I’m sure you don’t need to study for it. It’s an ‘aptitude’ test, just tests your logic, I guess. Sorry about that rituraj.

@rid1310, mine is on 5th april. congo on getting selected!

Thanks! I still have to think about the significant object. Have you opted for scholarship?

im thinking about it too. yes! 75 percent… i cant afford it. wbu?

@rid1300 that’s a good suggestion! I will try it. Yeah, I applied to muwci. But I’m more worried about not being able to read body language and so on, because in. Normal interviews you can take your cues from the interviewers.

@sellerofdreams even I am not that good at reading body language! I’m so scared!

@rid1310 hahah it was the first name that came to my mind btw does anyone know what these games and activities are going to be like? I’m quite curious about them

@rid1310- all i know is that the question are only in math and english and its not too though so don’t stress to much about it.

is everyone in group b and c only isn’t anyone in group A ? BTW is there 10 people in each group or is it only that in group A ?

there are 10 people in group C as well
So does that mean only 30 people were called for the interview? :s how many people will get accepted then?

@rituraj- well, that’s amazing, an interview offer after opting for a 75% scholarship is incredible. In fact, I have asked for a 75% one too. Can’t afford it either.

@sellerofdreams- Ah. Don’t be busy cracking body language codes. Most misleading. Usually, the interviewers’ expressions portray boredom or ‘I-don’t-have-time-kid’ kind of stuff. That’s what they did to my sister. They give you a tough time, you know- tell you to dance or crack jokes or simply glare at you. That’s when you just be yourself and choose not to get affected by any of it. It’s more like they test your confidence. And who knows, perhaps they bully you less over the phone than in person? :P
P.S NOT TRYING TO SCARE YOU.

@zoozoo123- Be curious. Be very curious. Because, well, none of us know anything about the games either.

And oh, about the groups. Each group(A, B, C) will have about 40 applicants who will further be divided into 4 sub-groups of 10 students each. That makes more sense because they have to interview about 120 kids over a period of three days.

@Rid1310- Are you sure there are 40 people?
