UWC Interview help (MUWCI)

@rid1310- do you know the number of students they will take at 75 percent scholarship?

Do you think they interview most of the applicants? I know that around 50 every year are taken from India, so that means they’ll be rejecting two thirds of all those who come in for the interview, which is quite a depressing thought :(

I am no UWC expert but I’m pretty sure that there will be 40 applicants on one day. Approximately 40.

@rituraj- I really don’t know. However, it depends completely on the applicant’s performance at the interview. Usually, they give a 75% scholarship to anybody they think that deserves it. There is no fixed number of applicants they choose, if they like two out five applicants then they will only choose two. If they love all five then all the five applicants get selected. There is fierce competition, though. You really have to win them over.

It’s depressing, I know. It must be so freaking tough for them to select only 45-50 applicants out of 120 brilliant applicants. It’s more depressing for them, actually. You just chill. B)

I sent you a friend request, Aryan.
Anyway, I am from Pune. I was studying IGCSE last year and my boards were over by November '12. Currently, I’m on a half gap year(if that’s a word).
I’m volunteering at a school teaching under-privileged children.
That’s that. How about you?

I sent you a friend request as well Aryan (my name is Ahaan :p)
I am from Delhi, and I’m studying CBSE and we don’t exactly have boards for class 10 anymore, got that new CCE system, so the boards are basically divided into 4 exams which take place in class 9 and 10 (2 each). My last exam is getting over on wednesday
What about you?

zoozoo123- your username still seems to fascinate me. Well, good luck for your last exam. Which school do you go to?
