i already got my JMU acceptance letter about 2 weeks ago....so maybe they send it out in waves

Got into William and Mary as a sophomore(next year) transfer student, and I get to leave Mount Holyoke! The admissions office accidentally sent my acceptance packet to my house in CA, and my family got to open and see the news first. I'm still waiting to hear from other places, but if WM is my only acceptance, I'm really excited to go there next fall! The only bad thing is that I'm not guaranteed housing. I've applied for housing, but I'm worried about not getting on-campus housing. Does anyone know if the off-campus housing in the area is cheap?

I got my acceptance to W&M earlier this week. (out-of-state)

what were your stats, guys? (if you don't mind sharing)

stats: 3.85 college GPA, tons of extracurriculars (two choirs, vice president of one choir, club water polo, IVCF, Mount Holyoke Protestant Community member, private voice study, work-study), good recs, 4.05 High school GPA at rigorous private prep school, National Merit Scholar Letter of Commendation in CA, 4/5s on 7 APs, started college with 28 credits from high school

JUST GOT IN TO JMU!!! :)

But what sucks is I just found that transfer students are enrolled as "commuter students." Meaning we have to go on a waiting list for housing. ALSO their deposit is due May 15, which is abnormally early. I don't get out of THIS school until May 12. How am I supposed to go visit and really LOOK into the school and have my deposit in BY the 15?

Also, I don't even hear BU's decision until the week of May 15...

CONGRATS VA_MIKE!
