<p>i agree, the two people with 4.0's in my class are the ones who have never challenged themselves to take a class they would not excel in, despite the fact that my school offers at least 15 APs</p>
<p>it depends. if one is a valedictorian in a really good school it helps. Also it helps if you share that with as few people as possible. For example, I go to a small school where 1 REALLY smart person has a 4.0 and the rest has around 3.8 and below. I myself have around 3.787. So yeah, if your school has around 400 seniors and like 100 of them has a 4.0, it might not matter, just indicates you are merely a hard worker</p>
