Vanderbilt Admissions Regular Decision Fall 2022

Not that I’ve heard. The NYU board is tracking housing. Haven’t really seen anything here though. Just got accepted to GW and there was zero astrology there.

Is it better to apply to transfer to Vanderbilt as a rising Sophomore or a rising Junior?

The large majority of incoming transfers are entering their sophomore year. My daughter transferred 3 years ago and I remember seeing a junior or 2 at orientation, but not many. Outside of the pure numbers, it seems to me much better to come in as a sophomore from a social aspect. You already have to be somewhat outgoing to transfer I believe. There are already established friend groups, and if you are an outgoing sophomore it’s not too much trouble meeting people but I would think as a junior, you might feel more isolated.
