Vanderbilt Apparel

I remember reading somewhere that accepted students would get a T-Shirt or something similar in the mail. I haven’t received anything thus far except for my acceptance letter, a poster, and financial aid information. Does anyone know when we’ll receive them, if at all?

ED or RD mosaic acceptance?

@DaPueo ED II.

Well congrats on being a dore and I think you will have to wait until April 1st

I was ED 1 and just got mine a week or two ago, so don’t stress out! It should come soon.

As a RD admit will I get a T-shirt even if I don’t enroll?

@DaPueo no, you get it as part of the matriculation fee

ahhh

some people don’t get t-shirts for whatever reason

@Suffer that’s not true…

@collegebobollege I didn’t get one and I saw posts in the fb group of people complaining they didn’t get a shirt. So that’s definitely true

@Suffer Are you talking about this year or last year? Because last year is separate from this year and for this year everyone I know of who was ED1 has received a shirt (unless they’re international) and the only ones waiting are ED2 and RD Mosaic people

@collegebobollege That makes sense then. I got my admission notification two weeks ago but hadn’t paid my matriculation fee until last night. Thanks for your help!

@collegebobollege two years ago and the person that got the shirt was admitted rd, I was admitted rd, but I do not know what the other kids were admitted as.

And “last year is separate from this year” doesn’t make my statement less true because from what I have seen not everyone gets a shirt. That was just a heads up to the op to not feel bad if he doesn’t get a shirt

@Suffer all I’m trying to say is the way it works this year, everyone pays for the shirt as part of the matriculation fee, so everyone gets one. If they don’t, it was some shipping error that they can follow up with the school about. Sorry you didn’t get a shirt!

@collegebobollege Then I guess they changed their policy but since you were just accepted you would know it better than I do. Anyway it’s just a shirt I’m not really worked up about it, but like I said based on my experience not everyone gets a shirt (which the op may or may not find helpful). If not he can ignore it as he will find out if he gets a shirt a couple weeks after he pays matriculation fee!
