***Vanderbilt Class of 2021 Discussion Thread***

I hate how schools are pushing back their dates this year:/ Ex: Duke moved back to Ivy Day, Stanford moved to AFTER Ivy Day, UChicago added on two extra days than last year…

One college that I am hoping to get in…hope this is over this week…

Do i have a chance with a 1310 and requiring a
tons of aid?

When do you guys think decisions will come out

@DreamforIvy, in that case, you might as well push decisions an additional month! (

Is tomorrow still probable for decisions?

Hey guys, last year they sent an email at exactly midnight stating that decisions would be released the following day.

Midnight CST?

Yeah

Cool, hopefully we get emails tonight then

@Efuanta Wow we are literally in the same boat, I am so scared. I saw a guy in the ED2 thread who had a 1310 and I believe a 3.7 gpa and he got in, I’m still extremely nervous, trying to keep hope alive!

@vincenty99 Same last year the email came out the midnight between the 21st and the 22nd so I’m hoping its today or tomorrow

i wish i had applied ED here

So if we don’t get an email in the next 100ish minutes is it safe to assume that tomorrow won’t be the day?

Even in 2015, it was between 22 and 23 (time zone issues here), which were Monday and Tuesday and respectively. So I think the day doesn’t matter but the date does: it should be this Friday at worst, tomorrow at best.

Just wondering how do you guys know what time emails went out in past years?

i’m guessing no email tonight?

@hopefulundertone it’s still only 11:15 In Nashville. Give it until midnight their time.

for the past 5 or 6 years they have posted on the vanderbilt admissions blog the day before decisions come out. No post today so we will probably hear on thursday or friday

here are the posts from last year and the year before
