<p>So I am going to apply for Vanderbilt Early Decision 1 and I was wondering what my chances are. Please be as honest as possible and please reply!</p>

Public School</p>

<p>GPA: 4.0 UW/ 4.375 W
ACT: 29 with an 8 on the writing (32- english, 30- math, 28- reading, 25- science) (First time taking- 25, Second time taking- 26, Third time taking- 29)
Languages: English, Spanish(almost completely fluent)</p>

<p>Extracurriculars/activities:
-Academic Team: 4 years (Freshman captain- freshman year, Co-captain- junior year, Captain- senior year)
-Tennis: 5 years (Junior Varsity 8th grade, Played both Varsity and Junior Varsity 9th and 10th grade, Varsity 11th and 12th grade)
-Student Technology Leadership Program: 4 years (Captain all 4 years and mostly student ran)
-Spanish Club: 3 years (President junior and senior year and mostly student ran this year)
-Future Business Leaders of America: Junior and Senior Year
-National Honor Society: Junior and Senior Year
-Beta Club:Junior and Senior Year
-Habitat for Humanity: Junior and Senior Year
-Varsity Robotics: Senior Year (Lead Programmer)
-Chorus: Freshman Year (quit because no room in schedule)
-100+ hours of community service doing various tasks(helping with technology summer camps, helping with fall festivals, helping in a nursing home, tutoring elementary school students in Spanish, etc)
-Coder/Programmer for free time, I know 4 programming languages (Scratch, Visual Basic, Java, and ROBOTC)
-Internship: Hospital Lab
-Internship: Neuroscience department of hospital</p>

<p>My essay and recommendations are solid to strong.</p>

<p>I'm looking to study computer science and neurology.</p>

<p>I think you’ve got a great chance! Your ACT is definitely on the weak side, but everything else is gold. Your EC’s are definitely very strong (finally someone in FBLA!) as is your course load. Good luck to you! </p>
