I was wondering how Vanderbilt's ED was designed. I'm not really sure on how it works out. I don't want to lose any financial aid money because I REALLY need it and my stats could probably be in the median. But I am ready to attend Vanderbilt no matter what.

honestly, if financial aid is a major problem applying ED probably isn’t for you. too risky

You just don’t know where you will be if you apply ED and don’t get enough aid. You could have nowhere to go besides community college or a middling state school. Is that a situation you are prepared for?

Saying you will go to Vandy, no matter what, doesn’t mean a thing if you can’t afford it. You need a strategy other than binding ED. You need EA schools and rolling admissions schools, and you need to go where you can get enough money through need-based aid or merit aid to make your college dreams come true.
