I just got accepted!! My snap is madison_grace96

Typing out all my stats would take forever, but I’ll try to give y’all the rundown. I’m from Florida, and my weighted gpa is 4.72. My unweighted is a 4.0. I got a 34 on the ACT and some seriously stellar recommendation letters. I’m ranked 5/428. My honors were getting the National Merit Commended Scholar, winning three journalism awards from the Florida scholastic press association, being voted writer of the year at my school, winning second place in our regional math competition, and a few more. Those were the main ones. I have about 600 service hours from volunteering with cancer patients, and I am the Editor in Chief of my high school’s yearbook staff and online publication. I take all honors and AP Classes. I’m also in two or three other clubs, I held a part time job for much of high school. My essay was about losing my mom to addiction when I was 11.

Make sure to send a letter of continued interest! You don’t have to send it now, I didn’t send mine to where I applied ED until after winter break, but you can either upload it to your applicant portal if possible or send it via email to your assigned AO. You can find information about what to include on Google, but what I talked about was my interest in my ED school + what I liked about it, any updates (I was taking a class at the local CC so talked about that and some EC stuff) and anything else. Don’t send another LOR or anything like that though, unless Admissions specifically asks for it. Good luck!!

Dd was rejected.
35 ACT. 4.0 unweighted. Rank 1/53. Captain of vb team for 3 years. All-State. Student gov’t. Volunteered at local non-profit. All 5s in APs. As rigorous of a schedule as one could have for a smaller school.

All the best to those who were accepted.
