Hey guys I’ve been following this thread for weeks and I told myself I wouldn’t make a CC account but I just had to! This wait is killing me too! At first I pushed my Vandy app out of my head but now all I can think about is how our future’s are currently being discussed in an office somewhere and will be decided by people we have probably never met based on what we put down on a piece of paper! Isn’t that crazy?! I mean I know its more involved than that but still…
Anyway, I’m from Jersey, I applied to CAS for biochemistry or for molecular biology! BU is my second choice but like most of you guys here I ED’d Vandy because its an amazing school and I love it very much.

never said anything in here before, but have been following for a while now… anyone wanna give me their honest opinion on my chances? (white, female, poli sci major, pre law)
ACT: 33 (36 in english & 36 in reading)
GPA UW: 3.9
Taken 9 AP classes by the end of this year and have two 5s & two 4s. (as well as dual enrollment physics at a nearby state college)
I went to a month international studies intensive last summer where i stayed at a state college and took classes; pretty prestegious, about a 20% acceptance rate and got 4 hours of college credit for anthropology.
Ive tutored every day for the last two years in english/writing at my school, and I work in fast food 30+ hrs a week for the last 1.5 years. I started a future women in government club, attended 5 gov conferences, and have volunteered 20+ hours on local political campaigns. I’m also in an english honors society, and ivolunteered almost 30 hours at the chamber of commerce as an admin assistant for a member campaign for a weekend. My school is also very selective and ranked the third best academically in my state, with several applying ED1 for vandy too. The big problem is i got one day of in school suspension the first semester of my freshman year… It was for skipping class, but i have 4 teachers, an advisor, my boss at work, and my teacher from that int’nat studies school vouching for my responsiblity in my rec letters.
Sorry that was so long haha I’m just kind of falling into a huge panic these last few days and need some help… Anyone have a guess?
